the game on exhibition at the state library in brisbane is super coooool! only lasts for 2 more days, but its so worth going. the bottom floor was full of older games and some co-op games. the had pacman, space invaders, those crazy ancient things where you fiddle with dials, and there were arcade games!! king of fighters was my fave.

the upper floor had newer stuff- a section for pokemon, the sims, japanese games, guitar hero (i think, there was a large crowd and some music, i assumed that meant guitar hero). there was DDR, some older plasystation games, and i totally got to play a dreamcast! and a bunch of other old consoles i never knew existed (with some crazy brick controllers ). i got to play a bit of FF7 (so slow, it took cloud like 5 mins to walk across a room), there was katamari damacy (LOVE), dead or alive, some train driving sim all in japanese and a sailor moon puzzle game. in between all this pixellated awesomeness was profiles and histories of major developers, iconic characters and people in the industry.

i wish there'd been more final fantasy (or more on squareenix at least), and there was no zelda. i thought for sure legend of zelda would at least get a mention, but no. no okami either (i realise they cant include everything, but c'mon, okami is amazing). it was still the best trip to library ever!
